2019, 30 years after the wall came down separating East and West Berlin, and there is so much history to see and soak up in the city.

When the wall came down in 1989 hundreds of artists flocked to the wall to paint interpretations of what was happening in the political climate at the time, this section of the wall was retained and is now the longest open air gallery in the world!
This ultra cool Berlin bar, is tucked under the train tracks behind an unassuming metal door, once you’ve found your way in it opens up to a beautiful bar with an entirely mirror covered curved ceiling with a great cocktail list.
Finally, as you wander the city, notice the street light icons – you’ll know when you are in East Berlin when the little green man is wearing a hat…
